A Nigerian cleaner has sparked reactions online after saying he cannot date a girl who earns ₦100,000 a month.

In a viral video titled ‘POV: men if roles were reversed‘, the young man boldly share his opinion when asked if he could date a woman on such a salary.

He replied: “No, I can never date a girl that earns ₦100,000 a month. ₦100,000 is too small; it cannot even fill my gas.”

He went on to insist that any woman who wishes to date him must earn at least ₦2 million monthly.

The most surprising moment of the interview came when he was asked about his own bank balance. He admitted that he currently has only ₦1,270.
