Skitmaker Remote recently shared the motivations behind his 2020 marriage in an interview with Chude Jideonwo. He revealed that growing up without a mother left a significant void in his life, often making him feel isolated.

He explained that his wife, whom he had been in a relationship with since 2016, became a key source of support and comfort, helping to fill the emptiness he had experienced.

He said: “I got married between 2020 and 2021. The reason is simple: I grew up without a mother, so I was often alone. I had been dating my wife since 2016.

“She’s been like a mother figure to me. She’s always there, supportive in ways I never experienced before. I remember once she gave me just N1,000, and it almost brought me to tears. It wasn’t about the money itself, but it made me reflect on my life.

“That day, I didn’t want to pocket it immediately because I really needed it. But at the same time, I realized that she’s the only person who truly understands me and can stand by me. For someone to handle me the way she does… I sometimes feel like even I don’t fully understand myself.”
