Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has explained why he refuses to block online trolls, even when faced with a constant flow of negative comments.

Posting on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, the award-winning artist and father of five revealed that he intentionally leaves critics unblocked so they can keep witnessing his achievements.

Davido noted that blocking them would only deny them the chance to watch his career and personal growth unfold.

“I no dey block. I want you to see my moves, but I’ll still curse your papa,” he wrote in his signature mix of English and Pidgin.

The singer added that while he doesn’t mind people keeping tabs on him, he won’t hesitate to fire back if they go too far.

His remarks sparked a wave of reactions online some fans applauded his confidence and perseverance, while others pointed out that Davido continues to command attention both for his music and his sharp-witted social media replies.
