Jill Scott was forced to face her fear of rats during the grand finale of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on Sunday.
The Lionness, 35, was thrilled to make it all the way to the final but the trials were not yet over as she was forced to take part in her last gruesome challenge on the show.
She was forced to face her fear of rats in her final Bushtucker Trial as her fellow finalists Matt Hancock and Owen watched on.
Oh no! Jill Scott was forced to face her fear of rats during the grand finale of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on Sunday
For the first time in the show’s history, the stars were forced to compete for stars in front of their fellow campmates in the final, which producers hope will add increased tension among the finalists.
They were each forced to take on a gruesome challenge to win an epic final meal together in camp, consisting of a three-course banquet with a starter, main, and dessert.
But it proved no easy feat as they had to either take on Flood Your Face, Bushtucker Bonanza, a second instalment of the show’s iconic eating trial, or Rat Race, which featured thousands of bugs in a box.
And Jill was the first to take on the dreaded final trials, being forced to face her fear of rats as Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly told her she would be doing Rat Race.
Yikes! Jill was the first to take on the dreaded final trials, being forced to face her fear of rats as Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly told her she would be doing Rat Race
Ant explained: ‘You each have to take on a classic Bushtucker Trial. Up for grabs are starters, main courses and desserts of your choice, fully prepared and delivered into camp for you tonight. How does that sound?
‘Also up for grabs are drinks and treats of your choice. But for the first time ever you each get to watch each other take on the final Trial of the series. Jill, you will be going first.’
Dec then told Jill: ‘This is Rat Race.’
To which a nervous Jill admitted: ‘Oh my god, I hate rats.’
Challenge: Jill was only allowed to use her mouth to secure the stars as cockroaches and mealworms rained down on her and rats crawled across her
Describing the trial, Dec continued: ‘You will lay in this box and release the stars using only your mouth. Each star you get off the thread is another star won.
‘There are five stars up for grabs, which will each be added to the box one at a time. You’ve got 10 minutes to complete the Trial. And be prepared as there may be some jungle surprises along the way.’
Jill replied: ‘Along with the rats? Oh brilliant, thanks.’
Ant added: ‘First three stars are each worth a starter for you and your campmates tonight. The fourth is your drink and the fifth is the treat of your choice.’
Tricky: After securing all the stars in the trial to get herself and her fellow finalists their starters, drinks and treats, Jill admitted it was ‘horrible’ as she spoke about facing her fears
As the Trial got underway, Jill was joined in the box by an array of rats, which crawled across and around her as she attempted to get the stars free.
To make matters worse, she was then showered with cockroaches and mealworms in the very gruesome challenge.
Jill said: ‘I hate rats! I’m trying to think of my little hamster that I used to have.’
But Matt, 44, encouraged: ‘You’re smashing this Jill, you’re smashing this.’
Technique: Ant and Dec were left amused by Jill having to free the stars with just her tongue, with Jill telling Ant that he ‘used to be her favourite’ before his amusing comments
Jill was only able to secure the stars using her mouth, and left Ant and Dec in stitches as she used her tongue to free the stars.
After an amused Ant joked about her technique, Jill said he used to be ‘her favourite’ as he told her to stop laughing and get on with the challenge.
After securing all the stars in the dreaded trial to get herself and her fellow finalists their starters, drinks and treats, Jill admitted it was ‘horrible’ as she spoke about facing her fears.
She said: ‘That was horrible. My eyes are actually watering. I have definitely faced my fears. Just so happy it got us a starter.’

Jill rose to fame when she played a part in England’s Euros victory this summer but her fanbase grew after she entered the jungle.

They added: ‘The response has been incredible – Jill will be able to pick and choose what she does next.
‘Her team has been bombarded with offers, she also has her coffee shop in Manchester and likes to work there, but she’ll struggle to fit in shifts with the amount of work on offer elsewhere.’
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Jill for comment.

On Saturday, Jill led the way with the bookies at 2/5 to be crowned Queen of the Jungle, while Owen was placed at 5/1 and Matt sat at 6/1.
During an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine this week, Jill’s fiancée Shelly Unit said of her partner: ‘She’d be grateful and humble and ecstatic, but she’s not in it to win. It’s about the experience.
‘She’s been in football 16 years, been tied down to restrictions, and now being able to do something like this… she’ll enjoy every minute.’
