Imani Hakim and her fiancé, actor Chris Naoki Lee, are soaking up every moment of new parenthood.

The Everybody Hates Chris alum and her partner took to Instagram earlier today to share a family selfie featuring their baby boy, Kazuo-Marley Hakim Lee. The sweet snap shows the pair smiling as they cuddle their son, with Chris captioning the post, simply, “oxytocin boost.”

Kazuo-Marley, affectionately called Kaz Marley, was born on February 2, 2025. The couple announced his arrival in an emotional post that celebrated not only their growing family but also Chris’s birthday.

“Today’s my birthday. Of all the birthdays I’ve ever had, this one represents something so special and so unique and so universal,” Chris wrote alongside a photo of their newborn’s hand in his. “An unbroken kind of love has been awakened this week.”

Chris went on to praise Imani for her strength during the labor process, sharing that she endured 42 hours of labor. “Seeing my life partner, my fiancé, my rock go through one of the most inspiring yet grueling experiences has shown me what she’s willing to do for that special kind of love,” he said.

He continued, “These emotions are hard to put into words, and even harder to not show on our sleeve. Because after 42 hours of labor, after many months of anticipation, after being showered by love and support from all of those around us, he is finally here.”

Kaz was born just shy of 7 pounds and measuring 21 inches. “Our beautiful boy is here to make his world premiere,” Chris added. “Please welcome to the stage, Kazuo-Marley Hakim Lee. But you can call him… Kaz Marley.”

Imani and Chris first revealed they were expecting back in December 2024, sharing a video on Instagram that showed the actress cradling her bump while sitting with Chris and their dog, Kobe. The caption read, “World premiere 2025.”
