IMANI HAKIM BARES HER BABY BUMP IN NEW PHOTOS WITH FIANCÉ CHRIS LEE

Imani Hakim, best known for her role as Tonya Rock on the hit sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris,” is showing off her baby bump in new photos.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the actress shared a series of  stunning maternity photos, including one with  her fiancé, Chris Naoki Lee.

The couple first surprised fans with their pregnancy news on December 20 through a video shared on Instagram. 

In the clip, the camera pans slowly, revealing Imani cradling her growing baby bump while sitting with Chris and their dog, Kobe.

The caption simply read, “ world premiere 2025.”

The post quickly drew congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities. Among them were Terry Crews, who played Julius Rock—Tonya’s father on “Everybody Hates Chris”—and Tyler James Williams, who portrayed the titular character. “WHA…!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!” Crews wrote, while Williams commented, “Ahhhh! Congrats yall!! ❤️.”

Imani and Chris’s pregnancy announcement follows their engagement in early December. Chris proposed in a romantic and intimate setting at the couple’s newly moved-into home, with the help of close friends and Imani’s three sisters, who played a vital role in keeping the proposal a surprise.

In a  Instagram post, Chris reflected on the magical moment, writing, “Greatest thing is to love and be loved in return. So here’s to a lifetime of loving cause we ENGAGED!” He thanked everyone involved in making the day unforgettable, adding, “Months of planning and secret phone calls led to one magical afternoon, and fortunately, she had no idea.”

Imani has continued to shine in her career since her days as the spunky and hilarious Tonya Rock. Her portrayal of Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas in Lifetime’s “The Gabby Douglas Story” earned her widespread praise. She also appeared in films like “Chocolate City” and “Burning Sands,” and she currently stars in Apple TV+’s “Mythic Quest,
