In response to widespread rumors, the mother of Imisi Ayanwale, the winner of BBNaija Season 10, has finally broken her silence. She addressed allegations suggesting she had abandoned her daughter, only to reappear once Imisi became a celebrated figure and millionaire.

These speculations have been making the rounds, insinuating that she distanced herself from her daughter and only returned to the spotlight following Imisi’s rise to fame.

In a video that has quickly gained traction online, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to God and the people of Nigeria for their unwavering support. She stated:

“God has shown me mercy. A big thank you to all Nigerians. I’m currently living with my younger sister in Ajah. Although some people tried to push me away, many welcomed me with open arms, providing clothing and food. I’ve found joy and peace.”

Reacting to critics who accused her of neglect, she maintained that she chose silence out of wisdom rather than guilt, explaining that staying calm was a deliberate, not a sign of weakness.

Recalling the day of Imisi’s eviction from the Big Brother’s house, she explained that she was informed only hours before.

“I wasn’t told until around 4 p.m. to dress up because Imisi would be leaving the house that day,” 

She concluded with a heartfelt plea, urging Nigerians to show compassion. “Let’s stop tearing each other down. Let love lead instead of hate.”
