Presley Gerber was surrounded by the people closest to him during his final public appearances.
Before the son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber died at age 27 inside a rehabilitation facility on Sept. 20, his parents and sister, Kaia Gerber, stood by his side at several events earlier in the year.
On May 20, Presley joined Kaia in Los Angeles for the launch of her RE/DONE collection and the premiere of her short film, Short Cuts. Wearing jeans, a red plaid shirt layered over a black T-shirt, he smiled for photos with his sister and parents.
The following month, Presley spoke openly about his mental health during a panel at the We Are ENOUGH x Aviator Nation launch event, held June 11 at Aviator Nation Dreamland in Malibu.

Cindy and Rande attended as their son discussed his personal mental health journey. According to People, Presley explained that he began letting go of the pressure to project a certain image by allowing himself to be more vulnerable.
“The most free I felt was when I was finally honest with myself,” Presley said during the panel, as reported by the outlet.
