The long-rumored Camp Rock 3 movie appears to be underway, according to TikTok sleuths. But the OG flick’s star, Demi Lovato, is still playing coy.

Lovato made her Bravo Clubhouse debut on Tuesday night’s (Sept. 16) episode of Watch What Happens Live, where a fan from the studio audience asked if the rumors about a third Camp Rock movie were true.

“Is Camp Rock 3 happening? I saw that Joe said something and I’m really excited for the new generation to take the lead,” she said, before cheekily adding, “You’ll just have to wait and see.”

The singer, who played Mitchie Torres in the 2008 DCOM and again in its 2010 sequel, was referring to the Jonas Brothers’ recent appearance on Hot Ones, during which Joe Jonas revealed that he had, “Read Camp Rock 3,” written down in his notes app. “Sorry, Disney,” he playfully added, while his brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas appeared shocked by his candor.

Fans of the original movies have been calling for a threequel for years, and rumors were reignited last summer when Lovato reunited with the Jonas Brothers at the opening night of their Greetings From Your Hometown Tour to sing “This Is Me” from the first Camp Rock and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” from the second film.

“It was so much fun to perform with them,” Lovato said on WWHL. “I had a blast. The reception was great. It was so nostalgic for so many people, including myself.”

While Lovato was tight-lipped about any further reunions with the JoBros, TikTok sleuths have seemingly sniffed out the filming location for the next movie. Not only that, but some even caught Kevin, Joe, and Nick on set earlier this week, along with Maria Canals-Barrera, who played Mitchie’s mom in the first two movies.

Now, all we need is for Lovato to get on a plane ASAP!
