Animated comedies are certainly having a moment. South Park just returned with its Season 27 premiere (now streaming on Paramount+), the hotly anticipated King of the Hill revival premieres Monday, August 4 on Hulu and Disney+, American Dad is set to return in 2026, and FOX’s beloved “animation domination” block has been entertaining us all summer long.

The second half of Bob’s Burgers Season 15 has been airing on Thursday nights, but, unfortunately, the Belcher family is taking a week off. But don’t worry! Bob and the gang return next week (July 31) with two new episodes! And that leads us to Family Guy.

Is Family Guy On Tonight (July 24)?

Nope. FOX is airing reruns of The Quiz with Balls and The 1% Club from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET.

Is Family Guy On Next Week?

That’s also a negative. The Season 23 finale of Family Guy aired July 17 on FOX. We do have a bit of good news to share: Bob’s Burgers returns next week (July 31) with two new episodes.

Has Family Guy Been Renewed For Season 24?

Yes! Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, and American Dad! have all been renewed for an additional four seasons. Thanks to the new deal, we know that there’ll be at least 27 seasons of Family Guy.

“The longevity of this agreement reaffirms our commitment to the successful partnership we’ve built with the incredible team at Disney,” CEO of Fox Entertainment Rob Wade said in a statement. “This collaboration has and will continue to generate meaningful long-term value and strategically build audiences from Fox to Hulu to fans worldwide.”

When Does Family Guy Return With New Episodes?

Family Guy isn’t on FOX’s fall schedule, but the series will be back for Season 24 as a midseason show. No official premiere date has been announced, but we’d guess January or February of 2026.
