What’s everybody watching over the Fourth of July weekend?

We’ll obviously be streaming Ryan Coogler’s critically acclaimed thriller Sinners on HBO Max and renting Andrew DeYoung’s cringe-humor masterpiece Friendship on Amazon. You might also be interested in The Old Guard 2 (Netflix), Love Me (Paramount+), and the Idris Elba/John Cena/Priyanka Chopra Jonas action comedy Heads of State (Prime Video).

When it comes to the small screen, well, we’ve been preoccupied with all the drama from Love Island, but we’re also going to check out The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reunion special on Hulu. What about MobLand, you ask? Unfortunately, the Season 1 finale aired in June, so there won’t be a new episode this week. If you’re looking for a show similar to MobLand, Giovanni Ribisi’s underappreciated 2017 crime dramedy Sneaky Pete is available on Prime Video and debuts July 10 on Netflix.

Has MobLand been renewed for Season 2? When does MobLand return with new episodes? Here’s everything you need to know.

Is MobLand Airing A New Episode on Paramount+ This Week?

Nope. MobLand isn’t airing a new episode for the foreseeable future. The season finale (“The Beast in Me”) debuted June 1 on Paramount+.

How Many Episodes Are There of MobLand Season 1?

The first season of MobLand consists of ten episodes.

Will There Be a Season 2 of MobLand on Paramount+?

Yes! On Monday, June 23, Paramount announced a second season renewal for MobLand.

MobLand was one of those incredible moments where Chris McCarthy came to us with the vision of creating the next great mob series, and after traversing the UK countryside in a quest to land Guy Ritchie, we both came to the realization that we knew the exact formula,” 101 Studios CEO David C. Glasser said in a statement. “With the extraordinary talent of Guy, Ronan, Jez, and our incredible cast, we brought that vision to life.”

No official release date has been announced, but there’s usually a pretty substantial delay between seasons for Paramount+ shows (although many of them were due to the 2023 writers/actors strikes as well as the busy schedules of the high-profile casts). Per Men’s Health, production on the first season started in November 2024 and ended in March 2025.

Based on the above info, our best guess for MobLand’s Season 2 premiere date would be late 2026 or early 2027.

Where To Watch MobLand Season 1 Online:

You can watch MobLand on Paramount+, which is available for as little as $7.99/month or $59.99/year. Paramount Plus Premium (formerly known as Paramount+ with Showtime), which includes a CBS live stream, is also an option for $12.99/month (or $119.99/year).

You can also add Paramount Plus Premium to your Prime Video or Hulu account for an extra $12.99/month. You can sample the platform on Amazon with a seven-day free trial.

Does Paramount+ Offer A Free Trial?

You bet! The streamer is currently offering a seven-day free trial as well as a 25% student discount.
