Jacob Elordi was branded ‘super rude’ as he got into a tense altercation with a Venice Film Festival official at the world premiere of Frankenstein on Saturday.

In a TikTok video, the Euphoria star, 28, was filmed telling off a man fans described as a ‘bodyguard’ as he tried to sign autographs and pose for selfies.

The drama first unfolded when Elordi was seen chatting with the man before the actor declared: ‘I’m going to take a picture right here.’

He then leaned into a wall of onlookers for selfies, before snapping at the man: ‘Don’t ever tell me what to do!’

It is unclear what the official was saying to Elordi.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Jacob Elordi for comment and has yet to hear back.

The fan who shared the video revealed that Elordi remained ‘so nice’ and ‘took photo[s] with everyone he can.’

One fan wrote: ‘That was really super rude of Elordi’ while a second typed: ‘Ladies, I fear we have created a DIVA.’

Others wrote: ‘He’s there for your safety. He’s doing his job

‘I find it to be a little disrespectful towards an old man trying to do his job unless they have an understanding.

‘He thinks his ego will protect him like a force field… until it doesn’t!’

‘He’s just trying to protect him and do his job.’

Others supported Elordi, commenting: ‘Not really rude, it’s rude of the bodyguards. The star is the boss, not security

‘I think it was heat of the moment, he was trying his best to get to all the fans.’

On August 7, People was first to report that Elordi ended his on/off four-year relationship with Olivia Jade, the 25-year-old nepo baby of Lori Loughlin.

Before that, the Euphoria heartthrob enjoyed a 14-month fling with the 23-year-old nepo baby of Cindy Crawford ending in 2021.

The 149-minute film will compete for the prestigious Golden Lion on September 6 during the festival, before hitting US theaters October 17 and streaming on Netflix November 7.

‘When he’s born, he’s wearing nearly nothing. His chest is open and his head is high. Then, as he starts to experience pain, as we do as a teenager, he starts to hunch his shoulders. And as an adult, he closes off.’

Jacob added: ‘It changed me fundamentally — changed the way that I approach performance and the way that I watch movies.’

Andrew Garfield curiously dropped out of the role of the Monster nine weeks before production ‘due to scheduling conflicts’ after replacing Guillermo regular Doug Jones, who had been attached as far back as the late nineties and early 2000s.
