Jenna Bush Hager had to set the record straight on Today With Jenna & Friends when her guest host and contributor Donna Farizan brought up the iconic photo she snapped with LeBron James at the club.

Farizan expressed to Bush Hager on the show that she wished they had “overlapped” in college after hearing the Today host had taken that photo the same night she went to see LMFAO perform at the club.

Bush Hager clarified that she was actually not in college when the photo was taken.

“That photo with LeBron, I was actually a proud mother,” she revealed. “Yes I was a proud mother of one child. I think I just had the kid.”

She continued, “So that was like when we could go out a little spicier, or maybe it was right before I got pregnant with Mila. But I was in my late 20s, I was out of college.”

The picture in question shows Bush Hager and James posing with her good friend, who was celebrating her bachelorette that evening, and a credit card tucked into her tube top, as Hoda Kotb pointed out when Bush Hager first unveiled the photo on the show.

As Bush Hager recounted it, “I was there and someone came up to me and said, ‘You know the Miami Heat just won the championship’ — the title, I believe, [I’m] 50% sure they won something big — ‘And do you wanna come meet LeBron?’”

Kotb described the photo as best as she could for the audience: “Girl with her headband and her credit card tucked into her tube top that she wore to the ‘cloob.’”

Bush Hager confessed at the time that she has never publicly shared that image before – mostly because of the credit card “tucked into the boob.”

“I feel like that was irresponsible,” she said. “And I felt like my mom might be embarrassed by that. But that memory never leaves me.”

The Today host has shared countless stories about the wild days of her youth on the show, from the time she lost her teeth while dancing and got arrested for underaged drinking.
