Tobey Maguire Officiates Ex-Wife Jennifer Meyer’s Wedding to Billionaire Heir Geoffrey Ogunlesi
Tobey Maguire took on an unexpected role at his ex-wife’s wedding: officiant.
Jennifer Meyer opened up about asking her former husband, Tobey Maguire, to lead her Oct. 10 wedding ceremony to Geoffrey Ogunlesi at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii. The former couple shares two children, Ruby, 19, and Otis, 17.
“I genuinely felt like I was floating on cloud nine,” the jewelry designer told Vogue in an interview published Oct. 15. Meyer said she felt no wedding-day nerves—only happiness—as their three children and their parents made their way down the aisle. “And having Tobey, my ex-husband, officiate was so special,” she added.

Meyer acknowledged that having the Spider-Man star preside over the ceremony was unconventional, especially since their divorce was finalized just days before her wedding to Ogunlesi. Still, she said the choice felt “a little unconventional, but so perfectly us.”
The 49-year-old jewelry designer, who also shares a 5-month-old daughter with Ogunlesi, has spoken before about maintaining a close relationship with Maguire. The pair separated in 2016 after nine years of marriage and filed for divorce in 2020.
“Our daughter was 10 or something,” Meyer recalled during a December appearance on the Inside Edit podcast. “Those are some intense times that you need to stay connected. And then we had a son who was 7. You’re raising kids at an intense time.”
