John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen are expecting to welcome another bundle of joy into their household early next year. Recently, in an interview with Audacy’s Check In, the “Never Break” singer said that he can see himself and his wife “going for four [kids].”
The singer continued in the interview saying that, “We’ve got a few more months before Chrissy is expecting to deliver. We’re really anticipating it. … We’ve spent quite a bit of time with our kids now, Luna is 6 and Miles is 4, so we’ve grown as parents and we’re ready to bring another baby into the world.”
Legend added that when it comes to the future, he and his wife, “envision growing old together, having three or four kids and having them come over for Sunday dinner, having grandkids when the time is right.”
The “All of Me” singer also addressed the pregnancy loss that the couple experienced. He said that although it has been “difficult,” for them, their family is “feeling so optimistic this time.”
And of course, we are talking Chrissy Teigen here, and she taken optimistic to a new level, bringing in a sense of humor that only she can do.
Recently on Instagram, the 36-year-old cookbook author gave fans a pregnancy craving update posting, “comical at this point,” with a snap of her snack of choice.
Are Luna and Miles just as happy as their parents to become big sister and big brother? Well, according to their mother…they are very excited!
“Since we did IVF [in-vitro fertilization] we knew probably nine days after we did the transfer that it had worked and we were pregnant,” she said speaking to People Magazine at EPIC’s celebration of National Parents Day Off. “I told them very, very early. They knew that I was going in for the transfer, that we were going to go in and put this egg inside Mommy’s belly. So they knew from the very, very beginning, and they knew there was a chance it might not work because that’s happened before.”
She continued, “They’ve been excited for a long time. I feel like this is going to be the longest pregnancy to them because they’ve known since the day. But they’ve been really very excited.”
We, just like Luna and Miles, are really very exited and cannot wait to meet the new addition to the family!
