JoJo Siwa basically grew up on film. The now 21-year-old successfully parlayed her childhood reality TV gig on Dance Moms into an adult career. Still, there have been some growing pains. What Siwa hasn’t navigated seamlessly is her very public romantic life. A recent appearance on Celebrity Big Brother led to her split from Kath Ebbs, a content creator and activist. Ebbs has taken to social media to share the brutal way Siwa dumped them. It’s not the first dramatic breakup Siwa has had. It is also not the first time an ex has accused them of being cold-blooded and leading people on.

JoJo Siwa and Australian actor Kath Ebbs began their relationship in late 2024, publicly confirming it in January 2025 through affectionate social media posts and public appearances. Their bond appeared strong, and the relationship looked serious. They even shared sweet moments with fans during Siwa’s visits to Australia and Ebbs’ trips to Los Angeles via social media. Then, it all ended abruptly.

Siwa appeared on the iconic reality TV series. Ebbs said Siwa broke up with them suddenly at a cast party. In an Instagram upload, the Australian actor claimed Siwa was emotionally cheating, after asking them to move the relationship forward. While Ebbs was shocked by the cold and sudden nature of the split, it’s not the first time Siwa has been accused of ending a romance without a care.
Avery Cyrus and JoJo Siwa also had a bad breakup
JoJo Siwa’s latest breakup isn’t the first split she has been through. Despite their age, it isn’t even the first bad breakup the TV personality has weathered in the public eye. Siwa’s split from TikTok creator Avery Cyrus was pretty bitter, too.
Siwa and Cyrus dated for just three months in 2022, but the relationship and the breakup were very public. They went from enjoying Disney World and beach dates together to vowing never to speak to each other again. Cyrus was the first to announce the split in December 2022. At first, she insisted it was all friendly. Days later, Siwa, who initiated the end of the romance, took to Instagram to unload, claiming she had been “played” by Cyrus for clout.
Avery responded to the upload, genuinely confused by Siwa’s sudden change in perspective. She spoke to E! News, telling the publication, “I’m still very hurt that JoJo broke up with me, and I’m saddened and confused by the situation.” Despite the short nature of the romance and the time that has elapsed, Siwa is still throwing barbs. In 2024, Siwa threw shade at Cyrus during a podcast interview, claiming that there was one person they would never speak to again. Cyrus is reportedly fine with that.
