It’s been a while since fans of The View have seen Joy Behar at the iconic Hot Topics Table. Her last appearance was on January 23rd, and in her absence, Ana Navarro filled in, while Whoopi Goldberg assumed the moderator duties during the show’s episode on Friday, January 30th.
Goldberg, adding a touch of humor to her unexpected role, remarked, “So today’s a little unusual. I’m here,” as she took the helm of The View for the day.
Keeping the audience informed, Goldberg explained Behar’s absence during the January 27th episode, clarifying that the reason for her co-host’s missing presence was due to her not feeling well. “We want her to feel better and get her behind back here,” Goldberg expressed with a mix of concern and affection.
She also kept viewers informed as to why Behar was absent, explaining on the Jan. 27 episode of The View that Behar was “not feeling well.”
“We want her to feel better and get her behind back here,” she added at the time.

Behar is typically off on Mondays, so her absence from this morning’s episode was not unusual. Navarro was at the Hot Topics Table instead, with Goldberg, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
