Justin Timberlake’s “Forget Tomorrow World Tour” ran from April 29, 2024, through festivals and standalone dates until July 30, 2025, in Istanbul, totaling 121 shows across five continents. Despite early praise from critics citing high production values and standout stage design, the European festival leg drew widespread criticism. At the Electric Castle Festival in Romania, fans lambasted Timberlake for arriving up to an hour late. He also relied heavily on crowd participation. Meanwhile, fans took to Reddit and TikTok to voice frustration over canceled shows. Now, Timberlake is allegedly ready to get his old *NSYNC crew back together after feeling disappointed with the tour.
Justin Timberlake allegedly wants to perform with *NSYNC again after the ‘Forget Tomorrow World Tour’
Justin Timberlake’s “Forget Tomorrow World Tour,” his first global outing since 2019, ran from April 29, 2024, to July 30, 2025. It encompassed 121 shows across North America, Europe, and South America. The tour began with record-breaking pre‑sales, reportedly surpassing $140 million from the first 70 dates. It eventually grossed $205.2 million from 94 shows, drawing an estimated 1.25 million fans.
Early shows earned praise for sculpted choreography and theatrical staging. But the tour’s European festival leg triggered a wave of social media backlash. Fans accused Timberlake of performing with minimal engagement, frequently skipping verses, and turning the mic over to the crowd. He also appeared lethargic onstage. An insider told DailyMail.com that Timberlake is rethinking any plans for a solo tour in the future. In fact, his experience with “Forget Tomorrow” allegedly made him want to reunite *NSYNC.
“Justin understands why fans were disappointed, but he decided on what his tour was going to be all about, and he stuck with it,” the source said. “But it also made him realize what needs to be next, and that’s a return to *NSYNC.”
The source added that the songs Timberlake did with *NSYNC on the Trolls soundtrack were “well received” by fans. “He knows that the fans want them back, so after his tour is done, he is going to spend some time with family, maybe entertain doing a film, and then hunker down and reunite with his boys and make the *NSYNC reunion finally happen,” they alleged.
Justin Timberlake said he felt immense ‘joy’ from the tour despite health setbacks
Some fans might’ve been disappointed by Justin Timberlake’s “Forget Tomorrow World Tour.” However, some health setbacks might’ve affected his performance. On July 31, 2025, he posted about his Lyme disease diagnosis.
“Among other things, I’ve been battling some health issues, and was diagnosed with Lyme disease — which I don’t say so you feel bad for me — but to shed some light on what I’ve been up against behind the scenes,” he posted to Instagram. “If you’ve experienced this disease or know someone who has — then you’re aware: Living with this can be relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically. When I first got the diagnosis, I was shocked for sure. But, at least I could understand why I would be onstage and in a massive amount of nerve pain, or just feeling crazy fatigue or sickness.
Then, he noted that he had to decide whether to stop touring or persevere. “I decided the joy that performing brings me far outweighs the fleeting stress my body was feeling,” Timberlake wrote. “I’m so glad I kept going.”
Another source claims *NSYNC became ‘closer than ever’ in 2024
We can’t say for sure whether Justin Timberlake and *NSYNC are planning a comeback. However, in October 2024, an insider told The U.S. Sun that all the boy band members are “closer than ever.”
“Justin told the others that he is committed to a project next year to mark the big 30,” the source alleged. “The guys have always known that a major reunion should happen, but with them all heading toward 50, the timing is important — especially if a performance is involved.”
The band members allegedly also discussed a potential docuseries.
