Kat Dennings recently spent some downtime out and about at Disneyland. It sounds like the iconic actor was enjoying the sights so much that she forgot who she was. Dennings recently wrote that she was left wondering if she was doing alright after it took her a moment to figure out why people at Disneyland were excited to see her. Kat Dennings actually forgot she was a part of the MCU. She’s been in several movies.
Kat Dennings forgot who she was at Disneyland
Kat Dennings had an interesting moment while tooling around Disneyland recently. Dennings took to Instagram to inform her fans that she spent some time at Avengers Campus at Disneyland. While she clearly enjoyed the attraction, she could not figure out why everyone was waving at her while she checked out the sights. Dennings apparently forgot that she was a part of the MCU while walking around the theme park. The brief memory lapses had her questioning her health.
The Avengers Campus is a theme park attraction located at Disney California Adventure. The attraction opened in 2021 and replaced an installment dedicated to A Bug’s Life. The following year, Disney opened a similar attraction at its Paris location. Another MCU attraction is currently being constructed at Hong Kong Disneyland. It will be called Stark Expo at the Hong Kong location. A grand opening date has not been released.
Is Kat Dennings interested in returning to the MCU?
Fans were quick to chime in on her post. While Kat Dennings seemingly forgot who she was for a moment, MCU fans won’t forget any time soon. It’s not like Dennings had a tiny role in the universe. It isn’t even like her character appearing in only one movie. Dennings played Darcy Lewis in four separate flicks and voiced the character. She took on the role of Darcy Lewis in Thor, Thor: The Dark World, WandaVision , and Thor: Love and Thunder. She also voiced the character in What If… Sure, her character didn’t have any crazy powers, but she’s a genius and beloved by fans. So, would she return to the universe to reprise the role?
Kat Dennings might not see herself as Darcy Lewis, but the MCU fans certainly do. While there are no plans for her to reprise the role anytime soon, it’s always possible. While Dennings is busy with Shifting Gears right now, she’s never said she won’t entertain the MCU again.
