Kate Hudson and Naomi Watts reunited on Wednesday evening for the Max Mara x Women in Film event held in Los Angeles. The glamorous scene was a delightful reminder of their on-screen chemistry from the 2003 romantic comedy, “Le Divorce,” which premiered 33 years ago.

Kate, at 46, effortlessly showcased her stunning physique, opting for a chic two-piece black ensemble that highlighted her toned abs. The outfit featured a stylish crop top paired with a flowing maxi skirt, perfectly captured in photos shared across social media platforms. Completing her look, Hudson adorned her feet with open-toe black heels that accentuated her striking black pedicure.

Naomi, who is now 57, made a statement of her own in a sophisticated, shrunken off-white blazer. The structured piece, with its sleeves ending just above her wrists, was both elegant and modern, ensuring all eyes were on her as she graced the event.

The fashionista teamed the sexy look with open-toe black heels that revealed her vampy black pedicure.

Meanwhile, Naomi turned heads in a structured, shrunken off-white blazer with sleeves that cropped just above her wrists.

Kate shared images from the cocktail party with her nearly 19 million Instagram followers ahead of the weekend.

She was joined by 53-year-old actress Leslie Mann in one snapshot, whose daughter Maude Apatow, 27, was one of the night’s honorees.

The nepo baby, whose mother is Goldie Hawn, captioned the carousel post, ‘A night out with @maxmara.’

Naomi also shared multiple photos from the evening, beginning with the shot of her and her former on-screen sibling.

The photo of them showed both in matching sunglasses, prompting her to write in the caption, ‘Sunglasses at night. Thanks @maxmara and @marcolin_eyewear for a great evening!’

During the event Maude, most recognized for her role in the HBO hit series Euphoria, was awarded Max Mara’s Face of the Future honor in recognition of her work as an actress, writer, and director.

Maude has embraced nepotism with her latest project, the movie Poetic License, casting several stars who have had a leg up in the industry owing to their famous backgrounds.

The filmmaker — whose debut role was at age seven in dad Judd Apatow’s comedy The 40-Year-Old Virgin — made her directorial debut with the film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Her mother Leslie plays former therapist and soon-to-be empty nester Liz, who becomes the unexpected point of tension between two inseparable best friends as they fight for her affections.

The remaining cast list for the upcoming film reads as a who’s who of Hollywood offspring — with no less than half the cast boasting celebrity relatives.

‘I’m so lucky I had the opportunity to direct,’ Maude reflected in a W magazine interview published on Friday.

She added, ‘There are so few female directors. I want to spend my life trying to figure out how to uplift other women.’

Also recognized at the WIF Honors ceremony were Jamie Lee Curtis, Tessa Thompson, and Judy Blume.
