Katie Price made her exit from Celebrity Masterchef on Friday night following a culinary mishap.
The 43-year-old TV star encountered a challenging week during the competition, ultimately being eliminated after her steak and chips were served undercooked, while her attempt at brioche bread and butter pudding turned out soggy.
This pre-filmed episode was broadcast just days after Katie was attacked in her home at 1:30 in the morning, an incident that left her feeling ‘frightened, vulnerable, and struggling with insomnia.’

Katie’s departure from Celebrity Masterchef comes amid claims she is ‘struggling to sleep’ after she was assaulted at her home.
Police were called to Katie’s home at around 1.30am on Monday, where a man was arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour.

MailOnline exclusively revealed Katie has no plans to drop her assault case and friends and family have rallied around her to ensure she has the strength to pursue a conviction.
On Tuesday, Katie was pictured with bruises to her face and told The Sun: ‘I’m still all dazed. I’m devastated. I ran away after being punched — I ran to Harvey’s house nearby and have now done damage to my feet, which I previously injured.’
Katie said she was attacked as she watched TV – forcing her to flee in terror to her eldest son’s nearby home.
She said the alleged assault was ‘unprovoked’, adding: ‘I was just sitting there watching telly when the assault happened.’
An Essex Police spokesman said on Tuesday: ‘A 32-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour has been released on bail until September 20.’
