Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos certainly had a memorable—well, Coors-inspired—moment to share with their audience on Friday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark.
During the show, Consuelos mentioned that the forthcoming Winter Olympics are sparking an interest in mountain vacations. This prompted Ripa to reminisce about the first time she, Consuelos, and their young children experienced the mountains together.
“You and I just stood there, amazed, saying, ‘Look at it. It resembles a Coors can,'” Ripa recounted. “Our only mountain reference back then was the image on the Coors beer can.”
The co-host duo later discovered that they were indeed visiting the mountain range depicted on the famous beer can’s design.
Ripa humorously added, “If you can’t make it to the mountains, just grab a Coors can, and you’ll see what I mean…”
Consuelos chimed in, “Just stare at it.”
Ripa continued, “… it looks just like that. Just bigger. It’s a bigger version.”
According to Uncover Colorado, the design on the Coors can is inspired by Wilson Peak, located in the San Juan Mountains in Colorado. The state of Colorado is also home to Coors’ Golden Brewery in Golden, Colorado.
Meanwhile the 2026 Winter Olympics are taking place in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy. The opening ceremony is set to occur on Friday, Feb. 6, and events run through Sunday, Feb. 22.
Following their host chat, Ripa and Consuelos Walton Goggins and Haley Lu Richardson on Friday’s episode. The two will welcome Sir Ben Kingsley on Monday’s installment.
