Kelly Rowland and her husband, Tim Weatherspoon, ensured that their son Titan Jewell’s 11th birthday was an unforgettable occasion.

The Grammy-winning artist offered a peek into the joyous family celebration on her Instagram. She penned a heartfelt message, reflecting, “11… how did we get here. Happy birthday my love,” and thanked Disneyland and Disney Parks for making the day extra special for her son, Titan.
The family of four was captured enjoying the magic of Disneyland in a brief video clip, showing them reveling in the fun. Kelly also shared a delightful snapshot of their 4-year-old son, Noah, proudly donning a T-shirt that featured a photo of his big brother on the back.

Fans were also treated to a charming video of Titan blowing out candles on a Lakers-themed cake, surrounded by his cheering parents. The Instagram carousel included throwback photos of Titan over the years, featuring adorable baby pictures and a beaming selfie with his famous mom.
Rowland, known for her role in Mea Culpa, has always been open about the transformative impact of motherhood. Not long after Titan’s birth, she expressed to People Magazine that the most unexpected aspect of motherhood was realizing the immense joy her son brought into her life. She fondly recalled, “When he laughed for the first time, I cried. It was the most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard.”

The proud mom has since shared more about parenting, telling Kindred By PARENTS in October 2023 that her goal is to raise confident sons. “I just want to get this right. I want to really be a part of bringing some really amazing young men forth into the world. That was my only prayer. My only prayer was to have really great young Black men in this world who were sure of themselves and didn’t have to be told who they were,” she explained. “I really cared about that because the narrative is tough as it is.”
In 2024, she reflected again on finding joy in the everyday moments. “Let’s be lost in their interests and the things that bring them joy. Let’s have joy with them about it,” the mother-of-two told People Magazine. “I’ll sit out here and watch [Titan] do basketball or do whatever it is that he loves so much because I want him to know that I see it. It’s wonderful.”
Still, even the most devoted moms need a balance. During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show in January, the former Destiny’s Child member joked that her husband encouraged her to ease up a little. “I had to pull back from some of the games,” she admitted. “I’m the spirited mom.”
