While Met Gala viewers noticed Jenner’s reserved demeanor throughout the night, all talk has moved on to her reunion with Bad Bunny.
Jenner and Bad Bunny dated for less than a year in 2023 before breaking up. Despite their high-profile status, the couple maintained a relatively private relationship, occasionally sharing glimpses of their time. Their bond was characterized by mutual respect and a shared appreciation for each other’s careers and cultural backgrounds. They rekindled their flame in 2024, but broke up once more in September — seemingly for good.
A source told DailyMail.com that Jenner and Bad Bunny had an unplanned run-in at the 2025 Met Gala. “They bumped into each other inside the event,” the source alleged. “They said hello and hung out a bit. They have stayed in touch.”
Jenner and Bad Bunny were both reportedly staying at the Mark Hotel on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for the event. However, they were not spotted at the hotel together.
A source previously said the couple was ‘having fun’ and not seriously dating
It appears it’s all love between Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny. While the couple is no longer dating, they still reportedly keep in touch and don’t mind spending time together. In May 2024, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the exes maintained the “same chemistry” they always had.
“Kendall and Bad Bunny are still in contact and spend time together when they can,” the source said at the time. “There’s a strong connection between them whenever they’re together, and they have the same chemistry that they’ve always had.”
In December 2023, another source told Entertainment Tonight why Jenner and Bad Bunny broke up in the first place.
“Kendall and Bad Bunny have been doing their own things lately, and things slowly started to fizzle out between them,” the source explained. “They both knew going into this that it likely wouldn’t be a forever type of relationship, and that was mutually understood from the get-go. They have crazy busy schedules and know they’re still young and have a lot more to experience individually before settling down.”

Celebrity body language expert Inbaal Honigman via Casino.ca noticed Kendall Jenner didn’t look her most confident while at the 2025 Met Gala.
“With her fingers tensed into fists and her lips tight, Kendall cuts a lonely figure,” Honigman said. “As she poses, her moves are quick and businesslike, and her expression neutral, barely smiling at all. Her lips remain tense, showing that she’s not having the best time. Her tight hands, curled into little fists, suggest anxiety.”
Did Jenner’s anxious body language have anything to do with running into her ex, Bad Bunny? Given how the couple remains on good terms, it seems unlikely.
