Hendrix Hart is on his way to Tennessee!
The promising young sprinter, who happens to be the son of well-known comedian and actor Kevin Hart, has officially committed to joining the University of Tennessee’s esteemed track and field team.
Kevin Hart took to Instagram to share this exciting development, posting a series of photos from his son’s signing event accompanied by a heartfelt message celebrating this significant achievement.
“So proud of you, son… The sky is the limit! Keep pushing your personal boundaries… I can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! We all love you, champ,” Hart expressed in his post.
The images highlight Hendrix donning the University of Tennessee’s signature bright orange uniform, perfectly set against an orange backdrop. In one picture, he stands proudly between his father and younger brother, sporting a sizable Tennessee chain. Another snapshot features him alongside a member of the university’s coaching staff, both displaying the school’s hand gesture with pride.

Tennessee’s track and field program also welcomed Hendrix on social media.
“Welcome to Rocky Top, Hendrix Hart!” the team wrote.
The program’s announcement highlighted Hendrix’s sprint times of 10.68 in the 100 meter, 21.35 in the 200 meter and 34.48 in the 300 meter.

The post also noted that he is a Great Southwest Indoor Classic champion in the 200 meter and a silver medalist in the 100 meter and 200 meter at the 2025 CIF Southern Section Division Finals.
Kevin Hart shares Hendrix with his ex-wife, Torrei Hart. The former couple are also parents to daughter Heaven Hart. Hart is also father to son Kenzo Kash Hart and daughter Kaori Mai Hart with his wife, Eniko Hart.
