In the time since Britain’s royal family has gone through many changes, but perhaps none more so than the king. Now, a body language expert is pointing out what the biggest change for the monarch has been.
Biggest change the expert has seen in King Charles following his mother’s death
Darren Stanton is a body language and behavioral expert with a degree in psychology. He previously worked as a police officer and used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. He later moved into media and TV as a consultant and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.”
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Stanton told Showbiz Cheat Sheet: “I don’t think I have ever seen King Charles so relaxed. I don’t know whether it is something he has gained since becoming king or whether he is just becoming more assured in his old age, but I don’t think I have ever seen him so calm.
“He used to come off as very introverted and slightly nervous. You would see a lot of self-soothing gestures, rubbing his hands and fiddling with his rings. Now, he really seems to enjoy being out and meeting the public. His entire face is engaged when he smiles, his movements are loose and flowing, his body is open and receptive. He is showing all the signs of someone who is totally confident and at ease.”
The expert added that the king’s “newfound confidence” is the biggest change he’s seen in him since he became the monarch, explaining: “I do think this newfound confidence is likely in part to his ascension to the throne, but I think he has also become noticeably calmer in recent months.
“When he first became King, you would still see those self-soothing gestures that were so prevalent in his youth, but in recent months, and certainly during this trip to unveil his portrait, they have disappeared entirely. I think that has been the main change from him over the two years of his reign – he is just the picture of confidence and calm nowadays.”
Psychic predicts that there will be an ‘increase of events’ coming up for the king
A psychic has read King Charles’ Tarot and shared what they see in store for him in the coming weeks.
Honigman is a celebrity psychic and astrologer who has been reading Tarot since the mid-90s. She has given predictions for Big Brother’s Little Brother, Elle Magazine, and talkSPORT radio to name a few. In 2023, before the king’s cancer diagnosis, Honigman accurately predicted he would develop an “illness” and that would “become public knowledge via an official announcement” in 2024.
When reading the monarch’s Tarot for this month, she drew “The Ace of Swords” card.
Speaking on behalf of Fruity King, Honigman told Showbiz Cheat Sheet that the card represents “new ideas, thoughts, and memories. There could be a royal book in the works, perhaps images of the first 10 years of the King and Queen Camilla’s work together. There’s also an increase of events where people can come in contact with the king, such as meet-and-greets in the palace and garden parties.”
