Eager to refresh her famous Hidden Hills home, Kim Kardashian has taken steps to remove certain elements tied to her history with Kanye West. As reported by OK! Kim Kardashian is ready to change her iconic Hidden Hills home. According to OK! Magazine, she just removed the basketball court she previously had built for Kanye “Ye” West’s 38th birthday back in 2015. She also reportedly removed the gardens.
Installed as part of the couple’s extensive home renovations, the full-size outdoor court was designed for both recreation and wellness. It came complete with sleek black-and-white detailing that matched the minimalist aesthetic of their property. The court quickly became one of West’s favorite features of the home, often used for casual games with friends and family.
Basketball court aside, she’s starting to lay foundation on the east side of the home for further expansion. Kardashian already extended the west side.
Kardashian’s choice to remove the court comes after the release of West’s documentary, In Whose Name?, which premiered in September 2025. In the trailer, Kardashian is shown visibly upset. She confronts West with the words, “Your personality was not like this a few years ago,” as they navigate the unraveling of their marriage. The film doesn’t shy away from exposing the strain of West’s mental health challenges and erratic behaviour. Kardashian’s presence in the documentary reflects not only her role as a former spouse and mother of their four children, but also her emotional journey through the marriage.
