As any proud parent would, Kim Kardashian recently shared FKA Twigs’ new video on social media, which prominently showcases the collaboration with her incredibly talented 11-year-old daughter, North. And of course, as you would expect, not all fans are happy about it.

Kardashian shared a snippet of the new music video behind-the-scenes for “Childlike Things” on Instagram. The clip features the SKIMS founder’s eldest daughter rapping in English and Japanese while wearing a white fur coat and oversized glasses, dancing alongside FKA Twigs.

North can be heard rapping, “Hello, my name is North/ From California to Tokyo/ Jesus the King/ Praise God/ Jesus is the only true God.”

On one hand, Kardashian’s recent post celebrating her daughter received a plethora of congratulatory comments from fans.

One social media user wrote, “That’s what it’s about being a kid and just having fun. I love this!”

“I just love her personality. She has such spunk,” another commented.

Another user wrote, “Oh Northie we are so proud of youuuuuuu.”

“Northwest is modern day lil bow wow.”

“Awe she’s like her mommy with so many talents she can’t even begin to name them,” another fan commented.

A sixth commenter wrote, “Northie has always been the coolest.”

Well, on the other hand, not everyone was celebrating North’s new milestone career moment. Many have commented. labeling the preteen’s involvement in the video as “inappropriate.”

“I see why Kanye is mad. This is inappropriate,’ one commenter said on X.

“No. Sorry this is weird,” another X user said.

One social media user wrote, “Childlike things and adult dancers. This all looks weird.”

One commenter shared, “I thought it would be sparkly and bright with the title “Childlike Things”. Seems more provocative and dark, which is a little concerning. It made me a little nauseous.”

North is no stranger to being in the music limelight as she has appeared on several projects with her father, rapper/entrepreneur, Kanye West, and is also working on her own debut release, “Elementary School Dropout”. It is truly evident that North’s star will continue to rise in the music industry and we cannot wait to see what is next.

In addition to North, Kardashian and West share three additional children: Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.
