Kim Kardashian recently revealed that her daughter, North, has become “obsessed” with her, a dramatic shift after years of anger stemming from the aftermath of her parents’ divorce. The transformation in their relationship marks a significant moment in their journey together following the split.

In a recent episode of The Kardashians, the-44-year-old SKIMS-founder revealed that she and her 11-year-old daughter are finally in a place of healing post her 2021 divorce from rapper/entrepreneur Kanye West.

In the episode, Kardashian reveals the positive mother/daughter relationship development to her sister Kourtney.

“The craziest thing happened. Tell me if this happened with Mason,” Kim questioned in reference to Kourtney’s 15-year-old son. “North is like obsessed with me now. And calls me with her friends like, ‘Mom I love you, you’re the best mom. I love you so much.’”

“Do you think you’ve changed?” Kourtney asked.

The mother-of-four replied, “I mean possibly. It was a year of like mad at me.”

“Well also you guys were getting a divorce,” Kourtney remarked.

Her sister agreed, saying, “I think it was all the divorce. It’s insane the turnaround.”

Time does indeed heal all wounds, additionally, the duo could be growing closer as a result of The Kardashians reality star taking on the “momager” role in her daughter’s career.

North’s own personal entertainment career has been expanding on so many fronts. From music to modeling, and beyond, the preteen is developing quite a repertoire of professional experience, becoming the sought-after face of a new generation. And although Kardashian did not set out to become North’s “momager,” she has embraced the title and it doing all that she can to help her daughter succeed, yet, not at the expense of sacrificing North’s childhood.

On a previous episode of the popular Hulu show, in a confessional moment during that particular episode, Kardashian revealed that she has struggled with prioritizing North’s career opportunities over childhood experiences.

“I’m really conflicted on my daughter’s career, so we’re going to talk about that soon,” she shared.

“I just really want to make sure that everything’s really well balanced. All of the work experiences are balanced out with just enough fun life experiences. I just want balance.”

We are glad to see that the duo are repairing their relationship and know that, with Kim by her side, North’s career will continue to skyrocket!
