North West, the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, had a hard time with their divorce. On the latest episode of The Kardashians — titled “She Said Yes!” — Kim reveals that North was “mad” at her for a long time after she filed for divorce from the controversial rapper.

While playing ping pong with Kourtney Kardashian, Kim tells her older sister that the “craziest thing happened.”

“North is, like, obsessed with me now and calls me with her friends, like, ‘Mom, I love you. You’re the best mom. I love you so much,’” Kim explains.

Kourtney, however, says North has “always” been that way with her, before asking Kim if she thinks she’s the one who might’ve changed.

“I mean, possibly. It was a year of, like, mad at me,” Kim replies. “I think it was all the divorce. Like, it’s insane the turnaround.”

Kim — who shares North, 11, Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 5, with Kanye —  filed for divorce in February 2021 after six years of marriage.

The Skims founder previously opened up about how Kanye’s social media outbursts led to the demise of their marriage in a Season 3 episode of The Kardashians.

“I don’t want to be a part of this narrative. It’s like, when is this ever gonna end? It never will. And I’m stuck with this for the rest of my life,” Kim sobs, telling her mom that she used to spend “hours and hours” of her days as the “cleanup crew,” while begging people to give her ex-husband “another chance.”

Kim further discussed Kanye’s change in personality in a recent episode of the Hulu show’s sixth season.

“That’s the hardest part … When you don’t foresee something happening that really changes a person’s personality and then they’re not the same person and you can’t ever get that person back, but you can’t live with the new person,” she said.

In her confessional, she added, “It’s tougher when you don’t want your marriage to end off of personal reasons but circumstances change that force your marriage to end. When you weren’t planning on that and that’s not really the outcome you want but there’s no other option, I think it makes it harder to get over.”

New episodes of The Kardashians drop on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. PT and Thursdays at midnight ET on Hulu.
