Bravo star Kim Zolciak wasn’t ready to leave. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and her husband, Kroy Biermann, had to be forced out of their Georgia home after it was sold, according to reports.

‘RHOA’ alum didn’t want to leave her Georgia home

Kim and Kroy’s seven-bedroom home in Alpharetta, Georgia, sold for $2.8 million in January 2025. The house had been on the market for over a year and the couple had dropped the price several times. In December 2024, it was listed for public auction. The couple – who recently called off their ongoing divorce, according to The Sun – purchased the home in 2012 for less than $900,000. 

Though Kim and Kroy’s home had been sold, they apparently didn’t vacate the property right away. On April 8, U.S. Marshals arrived and “ejected” Kim, 47, and Kroy, 39, from the house, according to documents obtained by Page Six.

The same day that Kim was forced out the house, she was on Instagram trying to sell her daughter Ariana’s bedroom furniture for $10,000, noted People. She’s now reportedly living in a nearby rental with her four minor children. (She has two older daughters, Brielle and Ariana, who were adopted by Kroy after he married Kim.)

Though Kim and Kroy have hit pause on their divorce proceedings, it does not sound like they intend to reconcile. During a recent appearance on Kristin Cavallari’s Let’s Be Honest podcast, Kim disputed her husband’s claims that she’d frivolously spent all their money. Rather, she said that she was the one earning money and that her husband had failed to provide financially after he retired from the NFL in 2015. 

“I’ve made way more than Kroy,” she said. 

​​“I’ve worked my ass off to provide for my family and my children,” Zolciak continued. “This man has not paid a bill in this house in years. Even with a job, he hasn’t paid a bill in this house in years. Not clothes for my children, not extracurricular, nothing.”

The Don’t Be Tardy star also accused her ex of stealing from her and her daughter. 

“He stole every piece of jewelry I’ve ever owned in my life prior to him, as well as Brielle’s, and sold it all,” she claimed. “Every piece I’ve ever owned in my life. Every piece. I had my engagement ring and my earrings because they were hidden in my bra.”

Meanwhile, Ariana has said that Kim and Kroy squandered money that she made doing Instagram deals with she was a minor. 

“I can’t say exactly what they used it on, because I just found out that it was gone two years ago,” the Next Gen NYC star said during a recent episode of the Bravo series. “I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period. Nobody was honest. There was no transparency. And I have no idea where it actually went.”
