In an unexpected twist, King Combs has stirred up a fresh dispute with 50 Cent by making a bold statement—one he quickly retracted—threatening to slap the rapper if they ever cross paths.
Known as the “king of petty” on social media, 50 Cent has earned a reputation for his relentless and often ruthless trolling. His latest target appears to be Sean Combs, alias Puff Daddy, as evidenced by 50’s involvement in the creation of the Netflix documentary “Sean Combs: The Reckoning.” This project did not sit well with Diddy’s son, King Combs, who expressed his displeasure in a now-deleted post, warning that he would confront 50 Cent in person. True to his nature, the “Candy Shop” artist has embraced this challenge, signaling a new feud in the making.
50 Cent has been crowned the “king of petty” on social media for his expert-level trolling. The famed rapper finds someone he doesn’t like and absolutely eviscerates them on social media. Sometimes, he takes his trolling into the real world. That’s what many people think he did when he spearheaded the Netflix documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning. Combs’ son, King Combs, hasn’t taken too kindly to the docuseries or 50 Cent’s take on his father. In a now-deleted post, King Combs threatened to slap 50 if he ever sees him in the streets. The “Candy Shop” rapper has accepted the challenge; it seems he is officially feuding with King Combs.
King Combs deletes a tweet threatening 50 Cent
Christian ‘King’ Combs is the youngest of Diddy’s sons, but he’s been the most outspoken and defensive of his father. Now that Diddy’s trial is over, he’s spending extra time trying to swat back the critics. He recently took aim for a second time at Diddy, but it didn’t land.
In a now-deleted Tweet, Combs wrote, “On my dad, if I ever see 50 Cent, I’ll slap the f*** outta him.” While the tweet was deleted quickly, it was screenshot by several people and has made the rounds on social media. It’s unclear exactly what motivated King Combs to send the tweet, though it seems the success of the Netflix documentary that 50 Cent produced might have gotten under his skin.
The docuseries seems to have motivated one of 50 Cent’s other trolling targets to reignite their feud, too. Ja Rule, who has long had a feud with 50 Cent, has also been commenting on the media mogul. He recently called him a “rat” for the docuseries.
50 Cent has responded
50 Cent has spent months trolling Diddy, as well as some of his main supporters, but he’s mostly left the kids out of the mix. Despite most of Diddy’s children being adults who have supported their father through his legal tribulations, 50 has remained quiet enough about them. He, however, couldn’t let King Combs get away with his most recent attack.
After the music artist’s deleted tweet, 50 Cent took to social media to clap back. According to Hot 97, he swatted down Diddy’s son by essentially calling him a nepo baby, saying, “You still living off Wi-Fi and legacy.” He went on to suggest that he close his mouth when he’s taking pictures before sharing his own resume. 50 basically dismissed King Combs as an annoyance rather than someone worthy of his trolling. King Combs has not responded since, though 50 has been hard at work the last few weeks, taking shots at everyone else connected to Diddy.
