Kody Brown Continues to Receive Proposals for Plural Marriage
Despite Kody Brown’s decision to step away from plural marriage, the offers to expand his family have not ceased. During the November 2 episode of his show, Kody shared with his wife, Robyn, an interesting email he had received.
The message came from an unnamed woman who expressed interest in joining his family. Kody relayed to Robyn that the woman had not only criticized his move away from plural marriage but also proposed herself as a potential new addition to their family dynamic. “She’s calling me out,” Kody remarked, “and then asking sort of like to get to know us for the purpose of joining the family.”
Robyn’s reaction was not entirely dismissive. In a candid moment during a confessional, she admitted, “For a split second, I think, ‘Oh, wouldn’t this be great? This is what I’ve always wanted for my life.’ And, ‘Hmm, would they fit.’” Her momentary contemplation underscores the complexity of their lifestyle choice and the enduring allure of plural marriage for some.
Truthfully, it wasn’t an immediate no from Robyn, who admitted in a confessional, “For a split second, I think, ‘Oh, wouldn’t this be great? This is what I’ve always wanted for my life.’ And, ‘Hmm, would they fit.’”
Ultimately, though, it was a no.
“I find it very inappropriate that they would send it to Kody,” she explained of her issue with the outreach. “It’s not usually proper to go hitting on a guy. You have to go through the sister wives.”
