Kristen Bell and husband Dax Shepard are totally secure in their 11-year marriage and has revealed her secret to how she keeps it that way.

The 44-year-old actress opened up to E! News about how she and the 50-year-old actor feel about each other’s intimate scenes with co-stars.

‘Even if Dax hooks up with the most beautiful person in the world at work, I know he’s committed to our family. I know he’s coming home. I know he loves our children. I know he strives to be a great husband and father,’ she explained.

The lovebirds, who wed in 2013, are parents to daughters Lincoln, 12 in March, and Delta, 10, whom they keep out of the public eye.

The blonde beauty added: ‘We’re just human, right? So maybe there could be a day where I’m like, “I’m actually really nervous that you spend time with that person.”

‘And he could say, “Oh, OK, let’s talk about it. What makes you nervous? What are you thinking?” We have a very open communication.’

The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star even went as far as saying the spouses ‘root’ for each other’s spicy love scenes.

‘We root for each other,’ she explained to the outlet. ‘When he got to make out with Minka Kelly on Parenthood, I was like, “Yes. Get it.” We’re married; we’re not dead.’

Likewise, Dax was not threatened by her loved-up onscreen moments with Kristen’s Nobody Wants This co-star Adam Brody.

‘Dax also knows there’s no real threat there, because Adam and I, if you were to see us in person, there is not chemistry.

‘We bicker all the time. We’re like an old granny and grampy. It’s not hot and heavy on set at all,’ the Hollywood siren shared.

Shepard shared his reaction to seeing his wife liplock with Brody while making an appearance at the New Yorker Festival last fall.

He began by sharing that he watched the show — which has been renewed for a second season — with a friend.

‘We watched that scene together, the kissing scene, which I’d argue is the very best kissing scene ever, ever put on film,’ he said.

He recalled: ‘And my best friend, Aaron, from childhood, he goes, “Does she ever kiss you like that?”‘

Shepard said he answered: ‘No, I didn’t even know she could kiss like that.’

Nobody Wants This became a Netflix hit after it premiered on the streamer in late September.

Bell previously shed light on her and her co-star’s steamy scenes and how encouraging Dax had been.

‘Even I can acknowledge watching it, like, “Whoa, that’s hot,”‘ Bell told E! News in early October.

She shared: ‘My husband said the same thing. Like, watching the first episode he was like, “Oh my God, I want you to kiss him so badly.”‘

Bell also said that despite the sensual scenes, the performance was measured and logistical.

‘I’m not trying to be reductive, but I think there’s a math to it,’ she explained.

‘You have two actors that know how to stare deeply into each other’s eyes, and you have to have the confidence to expand that and really sit in the anticipatory value before the kiss — which I think is really important,’ the seasoned entertainer said.
