Krys Marshall is expecting a new addition to her family!

The star of “Paradise” turned heads with her radiant baby bump at the 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards, held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on January 4.

Marshall graced the red carpet in a stunning champagne Sehnsucht Atelier gown. She completed the ensemble with pointed toe heels adorned with floral appliqués and eye-catching jewelry from David Yurman and Elyzian Fine Jewelry. Her hair was elegantly styled in a sleek bun, adding to her sophisticated look.

While mingling on the carpet, Marshall took a moment to chat with R29Unbothered about her pregnancy and the joy of sharing this special time openly.

“I think as a Black woman, no matter what you do, you’re going to be revolutionary,” she stated. “The moment you step out of the house, revolutionary, whether you like it or not. So there’s something kind of exciting about being unapologetically pregnant. I think that’s really lovely. And also stepping into the femininity and womanhood surrounding pregnancy. So I’m excited. Thank you for noticing.”

She later hinted at the gender of her baby on Instagram, sharing a photo from the night alongside the caption, “A big night with my little guy.”

This marks baby number two for Marshall and her husband, Ted Dolan. The couple welcomed their first child, a son, in March 2023 and have largely kept their family life private.

The evening also marked a professional moment for the actress. Marshall attended in support of Paradise, which received a nomination for Best Drama Series. She also showed support for her co-star Sterling K. Brown, who earned a nomination for Best Actor in a Drama Series.

Looking ahead, Marshall is set to reprise her role as Special Agent Nicole Robinson in the upcoming second season of Paradise, which is scheduled to premiere in February. She is also expected to return for season five of For All Mankind, which has been in development for more than a year.
