Brittany Hockley is filling in for Jackie ‘O’ Henderson on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show for the next few weeks while the radio star takes some time off to recover after suffering from poor health since contracting Covid-19.
And the former Bachelor star, 34, was left in tears Wednesday morning when Kyle Sandilands’ truck driver brother Chris called up to tell her how terrible she is as a breakfast radio host.
Chris, who is known for being as outspoken as his older shock jock brother, told the podcaster he couldn’t stand her voice.

‘Here’s the problem with Brittany, right? Within the first five minutes of you being on that show, you changed it from O News to B News,’ he said when Kyle, 51, asked why he didn’t like the stand-in host.
Chris, who was referencing Jackie O’s regular news segment, didn’t seem to care that Brittany was sitting right across from his brother listening to everything he was saying about her.
The former reality star tried to defend herself by saying, ‘It was just a joke Chris. I wasn’t really trying to make the changes’, but he didn’t listen.

But Chris went on to accuse her of not being a ‘team player’ and ‘trying to control the show’.
Kyle attempted to keep the conversation light, asking his younger brother to ‘give Brittany a go’.
‘I’ve been giving her a go. I’ve been listening to the show, but yeah, I don’t know. I won’t be listening over summer time that’s for sure,’ Chris replied.

‘Well, that’s alright, that doesn’t worry me,’ Brittany said, sounding downcast but accepting the criticism.
But rather than leaving it there, Chris went on to slam the sound of Brittany’s voice, saying: ‘And it’s just that podcasting voice that you’ve got mate. I can’t handle it. It’s not breakfast radio for me.’
The studio went silent as they processed his comment, with Kyle managing only a ‘Wow’ before Chris amended with: ‘Your podcast is probably pretty good.’

Kyle agreed Brittany’s podcast Uncut was ‘very good’ and ‘award-winning’ but it was at this point she began to tear up.
‘I’ve got nothing else to contribute to the conversation to be honest,’ she managed to say.
Brittany continued on with the show after the studio reassured her that Chris ‘hated everyone’ and typically treated most people at the studio poorly.
But rather than leaving it there, Chris (left) went on to slam the sound of Brittany’s voice, saying: ‘And it’s just that podcasting voice that you’ve got mate. I can’t handle it. It’s not breakfast radio for me’
