Kylie Jenner is facing criticism from fans who claim she is emulating Lily-Rose Depp, the ex-girlfriend of her current partner, Timothée Chalamet.

The 28-year-old beauty entrepreneur has come under scrutiny after a video surfaced comparing her style and poses in selfies to those of the 26-year-old French-American actress.

Lily-Rose Depp, who is the daughter of actor Johnny Depp and singer Vanessa Paradis, was romantically linked to Chalamet for about 18 months. The pair met while working on the film “The King” in 2018. Since their split, Chalamet has been in a relationship with Jenner for three years.

Observers have pointed out noticeable resemblances between Jenner and Depp, leading to speculations that Jenner might be taking fashion cues from Chalamet’s former partner.

Among the comparisons is a photo of Depp wearing a pastel blue Chanel crop top and mini skirt, an outfit she donned at a Chanel fashion show in 2022, which has drawn parallels to Jenner’s wardrobe choices.

Kylie proceeded to wear an eerily similar look from the high-end brand in 2025 while attending Paris Fashion Week.

In another image, taken in 2025, Jenner was pictured posing in a hotel room, showing off her picture-perfect makeup, and wearing her hair styled into loose waves.

The video then compared it to a shot of Depp from 2023, featuring both of them in similar glam and making mirror image poses.

The comparisons didn’t end there.

Fans pointed out that Depp and Jenner also opted for similar looks while they both attended the Oscars in March of 2025.

Depp wowed in a plunging black lace gown with sequin details. Jenner also opted for a skintight black dress that featured sequin details.

Another set of selfies, which both appeared to be from 2023, showed the ladies making pouting faces that were nearly indistinguishable from one another. 

Fan also compared a blonde selfie Jenner took in 2024 to an image of Depp from the 2023 show The Idol. 

It’s not the first time fans have made such comparisons.

In March 2024, a Reddit user shared almost identical photos of Depp and Jenner in a thread.

In the comments of the video fans claimed Jenner was ‘copying’ Depp

The first picture showed Depp standing with her back to a camera as she seductively looked over her shoulder.

The actress was dressed in a knee-length skin-tight black dress with a halter top and a very low back and her hands were placed on her hips.

In the other picture, Jenner posed in almost the same exact position while standing in a hallway.

She only made a few changes to her snap by pushing her chest out farther and wearing a black latex dress – and even wore the same shoe color as Depp.

Reddit users were quick to comment as one person said of Jenner: ‘No originality. Not shocking.’

This comes amid news that Chalamet is fully settled into domestic life with Jenner.

While they have not secretly tied the knot, a source claimed to Page Six that the couple have been living together in Los Angeles for more than a year and behave ‘like they’re basically married already.’

‘They’re obsessed with each other and always together,’ the insider said, noting that Chalamet has become involved in the lives of Jenner’s children, Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3, whom she shares with rapper Travis Scott, 34.

The revelation came just days after Chalamet called Jenner his ‘partner’ during his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes on Sunday.

Chalamet also proclaimed his love for Jenner as he picked up the Best Actor accolade at this year’s Critics Choice Awards.

After praising his team, his fellow nominees, and his Marty Supreme director, Josh Safdie, in his acceptance speech, Chalamet turned his attentions to his partner.

He said: ‘And lastly, I’ll just say, thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.’

In the audience, Jenner could be seen mouthing back: ‘I love you, too.’ 

Earlier this week he also made their relationship with Instagram official. The actor celebrated his Golden Globes win by sharing a number of Instagram snaps on Monday, one of which featured his billionaire mogul girlfriend’s hand.
