Fans excited to see Lady Gaga’s “Mayhem Ball” show at the Centre Bell in Montreal, Quebec, will have to cancel their plans. On April 6, 2026, Gaga took to her Instagram Stories to announce the show’s cancellation due to a respiratory illness.
“I’m so sorry to share that I’m unable to perform tonight and have to cancel the show,” she wrote. “I’ve been fighting a respiratory infection for the past few days and doing everything I can to rest and recover.”
Unfortunately, Gaga announced that her infection has worsened. She’s following the doctor’s orders to rest and not perform, “and to be honest, I don’t think I could give you the quality of a performance today that you deserve,” she continued.
“I know how deeply disappointing this is,” she wrote. “And I truly could not feel worse about letting you down.” Gaga apologized once more and noted that performing in Montreal the previous Thursday and Friday was “magical.”
“To everyone who was coming tonight. I’m absolutely heartbroken and so sorry,” Gaga concluded.
