The burial, which took place this week in Ekiti State, attracted several family members and industry colleagues. In the video circulating online, Odunlade’s wife is seen greeting Eniola Ajao with a hug, prompting reactions from viewers due to the actress’s facial expression after the encounter.
One social media user criticized Eniola’s response, accusing her of hypocrisy and suggesting she had a past romantic connection with Odunlade. The user questioned whether Odunlade’s wife had an unpleasant smell, referencing Ajao’s seemingly awkward reaction while pretending to read a paper upside down.
The woman went on to insult Eniola with unprintable Yoruba terms, claiming that the actress’s alleged secret had been revealed. She contrasted Ajao’s behavior with that of Odunlade’s wife, noting the latter’s reserved demeanor as a devoted member of the Christ Apostolic Church.
Additionally, the critic highlighted that Odunlade’s wife did not initiate the greeting but responded after Eniola approached her. The post also praised the blogger who first shared the video, predicting their rise in popularity, and referred to Eniola disparagingly as “cinema na water,” implying that her movie releases follow a repetitive pattern.
