Paramount+ has started filling in the remaining gaps on its late 2026 and early 2027 programming calendar. The latest update confirmed that Jeremy Renner’s Mayor of Kingstown will return for its fifth and final season in January.
Most of the streamer’s major returning series now have premiere plans. Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 is scheduled to arrive later this month, Yellowjackets Season 4 begins on November 20, and both MobLand and Tulsa King have already resumed their runs. One major question remains, however: when will Taylor Sheridan’s hit oil drama Landman come back?
Season 3 production recently began in Fort Worth, Texas, raising fresh questions about the show’s return. So when can viewers expect Tommy Norris and the rest of the Landman cast to return to Paramount+? Here’s the latest information on the Season 3 release timeline.
Is Landman New This Week?
Unfortunately, fans won’t find a new episode this week. The Season 2 finale of Landman was released on Paramount+ on January 18, 2026.
Will Landman Be Back For Season 3?
The series is definitely coming back. Landman has performed strongly for Paramount+ with both critics and viewers, making its renewal unsurprising. The platform officially ordered Season 3 in December 2025.
Is Billy Bob Thornton Leaving Landman?
Tommy Norris still has plenty of story left to tell, and Billy Bob Thornton is expected to reprise his role when Landman returns for Season 3.
Will Landman Be Back In 2026? The Latest on The Landman Season 3 Release Date:
Landman will not deliver any more new episodes during 2026. Paramount+ has not revealed a firm premiere date, although cameras began rolling earlier this month in Fort Worth, Texas, for the upcoming season.
Because production is expected to continue into early 2027, the most reasonable forecast is for Landman Season 3 to premiere sometime in the middle or latter half of 2027 on Paramount+.
Landman Season 3 Casting Info:
Season 3 will also expand the drama’s ensemble. Lioness actor Michael Kelly is joining the series as a “titan of industry who leads the largest oil management firm in the world.” In addition, Colm Feore, who plays Nathan, Mustafa Speaks as Boss, Bobbi Salvor Menuez as Paigyn Meester, and Francesca Xuereb as Cheyenne have been elevated to series-regular status.
