After playing his college football at the University of Southern California, JuJu Smith-Schuster was drafted in the second round in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. After spending a few seasons in the Steel City, the wideout signed a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022. He won Super Bowl LVII with the team and signed with the New England Patriots the following year. After his release in the 2024 offseason, Smith-Schuster had a reunion with the Chiefs and inked a one-year deal.
Once Smith-Schuster was brought back to the team and made another Super Bowl run, fans wanted to know more about him and his life away from the gridiron.
Here’s what we know about the wide receiver’s fianceé, Laura Kruk.
When Smith-Schuster and Kruk got engaged
Smith-Schuster and Kruk got engaged on Sept. 11, 2024.
The two shared posts on Instagram of the happy news with the caption: “I thank God every day for you. Now & Forever,” followed by a diamond ring emoji.
The collection of photos also included one of the athlete down on one knee as he proposed to his lady with a beautiful oval-shaped diamond ring in a Tiffany box while on a yacht in Nantucket Island as the sun set.
The comments section of their post was flooded with congratulatory messages from several of Smith-Schuster’s teammates including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
What Kruk does for a living
Smith-Schuster’s fianceé is a fitness coach. She is the founder of the brand LauraKrukFit.
Her official website features everything from diet plans and tips, weight loss motivation, and workout gear available through her Amazon storefront.
Kruk is also active on social media and has over 56,000 followers on Instagram. On that account, she shares some posts of her workouts as well as photos from date nights with Smith-Schuster, and her game day looks.

And speaking of her game day outfits, Kruk went viral for what she donned to the Chiefs AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 26, 2025.
She wore a black shearling jacket and vintage-style graphic T-shirt that had a photo collage of Smith-Schuster printed on the front along with black leather pants, black pointed heels, and a football-shaped Chiefs handbag.
She took to Instagram with a snap of her attire and captioned it, “Go Chiefs and go 9,” with a heart emoji.
Her post received more than 2,000 likes and her followers flooded the comments with compliments on her look writing: “Gorgeous,” “Beautiful,” “So pretty,” “Stunning,” “Slay,” and “Love everything about this.”
When the game was over, Kruk ran onto the field to find her man and the two embraced as Smith-Schuster lifted her in the air with excitement.
