Emeka Ugwuonye, the lawyer representing Nollywood actress, May Edochie, has shared an update on her divorce proceedings with Yul Edochie.

Recall that Yul Edochie and May’s divorce proceedings commenced in August 2023, after May filed for divorce, citing adultery and seeking N100 million in damages from Judy Austin.

This followed Yul’s introduction of Judy Austin as his second wife in April 2022 and the announcement of their child’s birth.

May’s lawyer revealed in a lengthy Facebook post that significant strides have been made in the divorce proceedings, with both parties reaching an agreement on key issues.

However, a working arrangement is now in place, although the issue of damage against Judy Austin for her adultery with Yul remains pending.

Furthermore, Emeka Ugwuonye revealed that May has no intention to remarry and remains unbothered about the timing of her divorce.
