Laguna Beach High School classmates Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari are together again.

On Saturday, October 11, Laguna Beach fans couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the two MTV reality stars reunite in a rare picture together.

“Everyone can put away their team Lauren and team Kristin shirts now,” Cavallari, 38, wrote via Instagram when posing with her Laguna Beach High School classmate.

For the epic reunion, Cavallari sported a black skirt, crop top and jacket. As for Conrad, 39, she chose white pants and a matching button-down top. (A nod to the infamous season 1 black and white party where Cavallari was the only one to wear white, perhaps?)

Fans quickly expressed their excitement at the former frenemies coming together for a special project.

“We’re fine, everything’s fine 😮 I love this so much ❤️🥹🔥,” Cavallari’s best friend Justin Anderson wrote in the comments section. Influencer Jade Brandt added, “And the millennial generation is fully healed!”

Cavallari and Conrad were not the only Laguna Beach stars to reunite in Orange County, California, this weekend. Talan Torriero teased a group hang when he posted a video with former classmates Dieter Schmitz, Trey Phillips and Stephen Colletti.

“California here we come @therokuchannel,” Torriero, 38, wrote via Instagram on Saturday with a video from the city of Laguna Beach, California.

Back in September, Conrad confirmed a Laguna Beach reunion was in the works at the Roku Channel for 2026.

“Let’s go back to the beginning…” Conrad wrote via Instagram on September 24. “Reuniting the cast of Laguna Beach, coming to the Roku Channel in 2026.”

The two-hour special is expected to look back on the beloved MTV reality show that premiered in September 2004 and followed the personal lives of several students attending Laguna Beach High School.

“When I first pitched the show to my bosses at MTV, never in a million years did I think we would find such a perfect group of real friends. The show not only changed my life and the cast’s lives, but the series meant so much to a generation of fans who’ve been waiting for this,” creator Liz Gateley said, per Variety. “To partner with Roku to reunite the cast and produce this special with Lauren, Stephen and Kristin as executive producers 20 years later is a dream.”

As for how the reunion came to be with both Conrad and Cavallari — who didn’t exactly see eye-to-eye in high school — timing may have been everything.

“We got Lauren on board, which I know is huge, because I know she in the past has not done much. I think the ‘Back to the Beach’ podcast was the first thing she had done,” Cavallari explained on the October 7 episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “So that was very cool.”

Although it “took a minute” for the trio to pitch the reunion, which originally had visions of being in Cabo in honor of the cast’s famous trip in high school, Roku later said “yes” to the project.

“I don’t know exactly what I can or can’t say,” Cavallari continued. “No one has told me specifically, but I’ve seen everyone else be pretty vague on social media, so I feel like I should follow suit because I’m typically the one that says too much and then I do get in trouble for it.”
