Leighton Meester is poised to capture the hearts of her fans once more.

The former Gossip Girl star has teased the potential of a musical comeback, over a decade since her debut album, Heartstrings, first hit the scene.

Speaking exclusively to E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes during the red carpet event for the I Love LA premiere in Los Angeles on October 28, Leighton shared, “I’m just about ready. But it’s a lot. It takes a lot, so I don’t know. I’ll do it eventually.”

While contemplating her return to music, Leighton is currently immersed in her television work. She recently appeared in Netflix’s Nobody Wants This and stars as Alyssa in I Love LA, which debuts on HBO Max on November 2, alongside Rachel Sennott, Josh Hutcherson, Jordan Firstman, and Odessa A’zion.

The Country Strong actress found the experience of filming the comedy series to be unforgettable from the very first day.

“My first day of the first episode, we had a night shoot with a stripper,” Leighton recalled, quipping, “I got a long, long, all-night-long lap dance.”
