Multi-millionaire Lewis Capaldi has boosted his fortune drastically despite taking a career hiatus in 2023 amid his battle with Tourette’s Syndrome.
The 28-year-old Scottish singer’s accounts firm Face Like Thunder was valued at £4,311,366 in December 2024 – an increase of £500,000 from 2023.
Despite taking time off from touring, Lewis has continued to rack in the cash thanks to his songwriting business.
As well as profiting from his royalties, figures show the singer’s second business Face Like Thunder Touring has £400,000 sitting in the bank.
Lewis, who set up his touring firm in 2017, is the sole director of all his companies and owns all the shares in them.
Amongst his earnings, Lewis lives in a £3million London pad in Hampstead alongside A-lister neighbour Harry Styles.

A source told The Sun in April 2024: ‘Lewis has found a home for life here and everyone loves him. He is a regular in a few of the local pubs and has got great banter with the locals.
‘Lewis is a big football fan and has said he’d be keen to get involved if the chance came up.
‘He’s got a load of famous mates like Harry Styles, in the area, and Liam Gallagher and Patrick Kielty live nearby too, so he could band together a whole team to take on the locals.’
Lewis was born in Glasgow but moved to East Whitburn in West Lothian with his family when he was four.
He is renowned for topping the charts with his hit single Someone You Loved and many famed albums.
After a long break from the stage, Lewis is reportedly discussing his next album with friends, which could be released this year, according to reports.
Lewis announced he would be taking a break away from the spotlight for his mental health after performing at Glastonbury in June 2023 where he struggled with his Tourette’s symptoms.
During his performance at Glastonbury, the singer admitted he had been ‘s**t scared’ to perform as he opened up about his mental health struggles, and confirmed he would be taking another break away from the spotlight after the show.

In the middle of his set, Lewis confessed that he was struggling with his Tourette’s as he said his voice had ‘packed it in’, after he had been coughing throughout the show.
Tourette’s is a neurological condition characterised by a combination of involuntary noises and movements called tics, and can cause speech and voice abnormalities.
Despite his struggles, Lewis insisted on continuing with his set and his supportive fans rallied around him, with the show coming to an emotional close as the crowds sang Someone You Love for him.
The heartwarming moment saw Lewis walk across the Pyramid Stage and sing short bursts of the track, while the kind crowds sang at the top of their voices to support the star.
After his performance, Lewis took to his social media to say: ‘The fact that this probably won’t come as a surprise doesn’t make it any easier to write.
‘I used to be able to enjoy every second of shows like this and I’d hoped 3 weeks away would sort me out.
‘But the truth is I’m still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette’s and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order, so I can keep doing everything I love for a long time to come.
‘I’m so incredibly sorry to everyone who had planned to come to a show before the end of the year but I need to feel well to perform at the standard you all deserve.

‘Playing for you every night is all I’ve ever dreamed of, so this has been the most difficult decision of my life. I’ll be back as soon as I possibly can.’
Six months later on New Year’s Eve, Lewis updated fans, sharing: ‘I’m really happy to say I’ve noticed a marked improvement in both since I decided to take some time off back in June.
‘For now I’m going to continue taking some time to carry on looking after myself, maybe writing some music and taking a moment to reflect on some of the most incredible years of my life.
‘I want to make absolutely sure I’m 100% before getting back out there again properly for more shows and doing what I love more than anything!
‘These songs mean the world to me and I’d be gutted if I’d not been able to share them. Hope this tides you all over until we can get in a room and sing them together some day very soon!”
Lewis also thanked fans for their support, saying their reaction has been ‘nothing I’ve ever experienced and has made me more excited than ever to return to doing what I love at some point in the not too distant future’.
