Rapper Lil Tjay found himself in legal trouble on Monday evening after being arrested for disorderly conduct following an altercation in Florida. This incident coincided with a separate shooting involving Offset at the valet area of the nearby Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The 24-year-old artist, known for his hit “Can’t Change,” was reportedly not connected to the shooting targeting Offset, a former member of Migos. Notably, Lil Tjay survived a shooting last year where he was struck seven times.

“We want to address the false rumors circulating about Lil Tjay’s involvement in a shooting,” stated his attorney, Dawn M. Florio, on Tuesday. “Lil Tjay has neither been shot nor charged in connection with any shooting. Reports suggesting otherwise are inaccurate.”

The Seminole Police Department provided an update to the Daily Mail, confirming that two individuals had been taken into custody and that the investigation remains active. They assured the public that the area is secure and operations are proceeding as usual.

In a statement to the Daily Mail, the Seminole Police Department said: ‘Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.’

Offset (born Kiari Kendrell Cephus) is still recovering from his ‘non-life threatening injuries’ at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL.

‘We can confirm he was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,’ the three-time Grammy nominee’s rep told the Daily Mail Tuesday.

‘He is stable and being closely monitored.’

Witnesses said the Fashion Icon rapper had been standing near the entrance and looking out toward the valet area while taking a call when fans approached him.

Offset was said to have smiled and shaken hands with the fans, and he allegedly stopped to talk with them and pose for some photos shortly before the shooting started.

The Georgia native is the father of six children with three different women, including estranged wife Cardi B, who filed for divorce in 2024 after six years of marriage.

It’s unclear if Offset will be well enough to perform his next scheduled concert May 9 at the Xperience Live Event Center in Orlando, FL.

The shooting came nearly four years after he suffered the loss of his Migos bandmate Takeoff who died, at age 28, after being shot multiple times in the head and torso outside 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston.

However, the 24-year-old Can't Change rapper (pictured March 16) - who survived being shot seven times in 2022 - was 'not involved in the shooting' of the 34-year-old Migos alum

Patrick Xavier Clark faces 25 years to life in prison after being indicted by a Texas grand jury in 2023 for murder for allegedly shooting a firearm into a crowd of 30 people partying and playing dice.

The 23-year-old strip club promoter/DJ – who is free on a $1 million bond – will face a jury this November after several delays, and he denies being the shooter despite prosecutors claiming to have surveillance footage.

The two-time Grammy nominee (born Kirsnick Khari Ball) was an unarmed ‘innocent bystander’ and was not involved in the dice game or the arguments about basketball before 10 shots rang out from two different weapons.
