John Legend’s two-year-old daughter, Esti, proved that she is his biggest fan as she clapped and cheered for her daddy during his performance at the Grace for the World concert.

On Sunday, Sept. 14, the singer, 46, posted a home video on Instagram capturing his two-year-old daughter Esti watching him perform on TV. The little one was glued to the screen as Legend sang “Glory” during his performance.

After clapping, Esti exclaimed, “That’s my Daddy, I love my daddy,” before jumping on the couch and repeating, “I love my daddy, I love my daddy.”

Legend’s wife, cookbook author Chrissy Teigen, 39, could be heard cheering the kids on, “get it, Wren, get it, Miles, go John!” as the boys nodded and clapped along to the performance. Legend captioned the clip simply: “Esti loves her daddy.”

The Grace for the World concert was held on Sept. 13 in Vatican City’s St. Peter’s Square, featured an impressive lineup including Pharrell Williams, Andrea Bocelli, Jennifer Hudson, and Karol G.

This particular Instagram moment is just one of many glimpses into the family’s busy and playful life that we have all come to love. Earlier this month, Teigen shared her four children, Luna Simone, 9, Esti Maxine, 2, Wren Alexander, 2, and Miles, 7, on their first day back at school after summer.

She captioned the photos, “First day of school YESSSSSS bless you teachers, bless you all.”

This summer, if you remember, the family also enjoyed a lake trip, with Teigen documenting Esti putting on her life jacket and writing, “Had our first lake life experience on the water today! Happy to now be a lake family.”

Back in July, the kids orchestrated an at-home date night for their parents, with Luna leading the fun as she created a custom menu at her “Rainbow Cafe.”

Teigen reflected on her daughter’s personality, captioning the post, “She is everything I ever was as a little girl but ten million times better,” speaking of her eldest daughter Luna.

The couple welcomed Luna in April 2016 and Miles in May 2018. After a pregnancy loss in 2020, they expanded their family in 2023 with daughter Esti Maxine in January and son Wren Alexander Stephens via surrogate in June.

Teigen shared her parenting perspective with People Magazine back in August 2023.

“For me, the hardest part is making sure the older ones feel loved and taken care of and just as special as the babies. There’s a lot of diaper changing and feeding and it seems like you’re coddling these two little babies and they’re not getting enough. I think any parent of multiple kids can understand that you want to make sure they still feel loved.”

In case you missed it, the Grace of the World concert is now streaming on Disney+.
