Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have separated after nearly three decades of marriage. 

The Full House star and her fashion designer husband “are living apart and taking a break from their marriage,” Loughlin’s rep Elizabeth Much told People. “There are no legal proceedings at this time.”

Loughlin and Giannulli married in 1997 and have two children, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose. Both Loughlin and Giannulli were implicated in the college admissions scandal in 2019. In 2020, both served time in prison after pleading guilty to paying $500,000 to get their daughters admitted to the University of Southern California.  

But the couple didn’t let their legal problems stop them from living the good life. In August 2020, just a few months before both began serving their sentences, they bought a 11,800-square-foot mansion in Hidden Hills, California for $9.5 million. But they didn’t live there long. The split news comes as they are still trying to unload the property, which has been on the market for nearly a year.

Loughlin and Giannulli first listed their six-bedroom modern farmhouse for sale in 2024 at $17.5 million. In February 2025, they relisted the property at a reduced price of $16.5 million. In July, the price was slashed again, to $14.5 million. 

The sprawling home sits on just over 1½ acres in the Ashley Ridge Estates neighborhood. It has warm maple floors and soaring ceilings, as well as a chef’s kitchen, primary suite with a fireplace, a fully-equipped gym, custom home theater, and a climate-controlled wine cellar. Outside, there’s a swimming pool, spa, bocce ball court, fire pit, and BBQ area. 

The When Calls the Heart star and her husband moved to Hidden Hills after selling their mansion in Bel-Air to Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen for $18.75 million. They’d initially listed the home for sale in 2017 for $35 million. 

Loughlin’s career took a hit following the college admission scandals. She lost her roles in Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart and the Garage Sale Mysteries series and did not work for several years. But she’s recently returned to the screen with roles in the When Calls the Heart spinoff When Hope Calls, as well as A Christmas Blessing and Fall Into Winter, which both aired on Great American Family. She also appeared in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm and the Prime Video series On Call.
