Although Megan Walerius and Jordan Keltner connected over having loved ones with Type 1 diabetes, their contrasting lifestyles ultimately drove them apart. Jordan favored a simpler way of living, while Megan embraced luxury. By the end of the season nine finale, Megan called off their wedding.
“We’re ships in the night, like two different people,” the entrepreneur told Jordan. He struggled to understand her perspective, responding, “I don’t see it.”
Megan also pointed to Jordan’s selective eating habits and the rigidity of his travel schedule as a father. Jordan questioned her decision to choose him in the pods, telling her, “I don’t know why you chose me in the pods then.”

“Initially I leaned into opposites attract, but I still just have reservations,” Megan said before the pair broke down in tears. She explained that, given what she knew at that point, she could not go through with walking down the aisle and putting either of them through an unhappy marriage.
Jordan said his biggest regret was introducing Megan to his son, Luca. In a confessional, he said, “I feel like she doesn’t love me for me and that’s the closure I need.”
The experience also left Megan “questioning if I’m even cut out to be a mom.” She added, “Maybe I am too caught up in my own life.”
However, during the October 2025 reunion, Megan shared that she and her partner, Paul Wegman, had welcomed a son named Brooks.
