Love Island’s Molly Marsh claims to be social media personality but has just £1 in ‘dormant’ company

New Love Island star Molly Marsh has just £1 in assets in her ‘dormant’ company she created three years ago.

The 21-year-old from Doncaster will be making her debut on the hit ITV2 show on Monday.

She is a West End performer and social media creator, as well as the daughter of Corrie actress Janet Marsh.

The blonde beauty seems to already be thinking about the possible opportunities appearing on the show can have for Islanders’ careers.

Molly created her own company in October 2020 called Iconic Influencer Limited when she was just 19.

She set up an accompanying website and Instagram account, but has since taken both of them down.

Her latest accounts statement from October 2021 reveals the company has just £1 in current assets and is ‘dormant’.

Molly also has interacted with several previous Love Island contestants who have gone on to be successful influencers.

In October 2021, a beaming Molly shared a photo alongside former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague at one of her Beauty Works events.

Only a few months later in January 2022, Molly was once again partying it up with more Islanders, including Maura Higgins and season six’s Siannese Fudge.

After meeting at what appears to be a Christmas party, the new contestant took to her Instagram to share the snaps, penning: ‘Camera roll photo dump of me being overly happy to meet these gorgeous people!!!’

Molly said of her claims to fame: ‘With my job being in social media, I’ve had some amazing opportunities to go on press trips and I’ve actually been out to the Love Island Villas in Mallorca and South Africa… 

‘Having the experience to walk around both was amazing but to now actually live in the Villa is going to be incredible.’

She currently boasts 26,000 followers on Instagram under the handle @mollygracemarsh.

Her grid is littered with snaps from her trip to the South African mansion, including in the beach hut and fire pit.
